HO-MA Notstrom specialises in emergency power systems and technical services, a field where precision, reliability and fast response are critical. As the company grew, so did the complexity of managing expenses, travel allowances and company spending across a mobile, technician-heavy workforce.

When Management Assistant Natascha Guy joined the company, Moss was already in place, but it was not yet being used to its full potential.

Putting technicians first with mobile-friendly spend

HO-MA’s technicians spend most of their time on the road, responding to customer sites and maintaining power systems. Ensuring they can easily submit expenses and per diems while travelling became a priority.

Today, every technician uses the Moss app on their iPhone to capture expenses instantly. This eliminates paper forms, manual data entry and daily handwritten allowances.

A system that saves time and prevents errors

Moss has become the central hub for HO-MA’s spend management. Natascha now manages invoices, users, reimbursements and missing items directly in the platform, with everything visible at a glance.

For the finance team, the result is both time saved and fewer manual mistakes.

With virtual cards and mobile payments, employees can pay on the go without carrying a physical wallet. This aligns well with HO-MA’s modern and digital way of working.

HO-MA continues to expand its use of Moss and sees more opportunities to streamline workflows through further automation and future integrations.
