Moss connects to SAP B1 via API. Once connected, master data and spend transactions stay in sync, and exports include line-item details with the correct account codes, VAT codes, suppliers and cost dimensions applied.

  • Chart of accounts, suppliers, VAT codes and dimensions such as department and cost centre are imported automatically
  • Expenses are exported as incoming invoices with the correct postings
  • Moss payments are automatically reconciled

FAQ

What does the Moss + SAP B1 integration do?

Moss connects company spend with SAP B1. Card transactions, invoices, employee reimbursements and payments are coded in Moss with the correct account codes, VAT and suppliers, then exported as incoming invoices into SAP B1 with these attributes already applied.

How does the setup work?

The setup is guided. You connect Moss to SAP B1 via API, confirm permissions, and select your chart of accounts, suppliers, VAT codes and dimensions.

Which data is synced between Moss and SAP B1?

Moss exports card transactions, reimbursements, invoices and payments. Master data such as chart of accounts, suppliers and VAT codes are synced automatically from SAP B1 to Moss. Moss also supports up to two SAP B1 dimensions (e.g. department or cost centre) to keep reporting and postings consistent.

Does Moss support postings at the line-item level?

Yes. Moss captures tax rates, account codes, suppliers and dimensions (such as department or cost centre) and applies them to each line item.

What options do you provide to handle document management?

Receipts, invoices, supplier documents and supporting invoice documents can be stored in Moss and transferred to SAP B1 or to third-party systems, ensuring that every document stays linked with the right postings.

Is the integration included in my Moss plan?

The SAP B1 integration is available as part of the Moss ERP add-on.
